I've had some very bad experiences with over-enthusiastic Christians so watching the father preaching to his son made me uneasy.

All that being said, I was happy to see Caleb go through the 40 steps. He transformed himself from living a self-centered existance into becoming a...( read more) better human being. This movie made me think about what steps I could take to improve my own life.

Well that was pretty inspirational! This will be great even for people that don't believe in the "God Mumbo Jumbo" (I'm one of them). I have high respect for the believers, I'm just not one of them. But this story is for everybody in a relationship. Today we are a "throw away Soc...( read more)iety", which includes relationships and this movie shows that they are worth fighting for. The only reason this Movie is not getting a 5 star rating from me is because of the cheesy fake acting.

    Great story.

Terrible acting. But that was expected.

    For married couples though.

    But has a good message.

For being a Christian movie, this is very well made. For being a movie in general, however, it severely lacks in several areas.

I'd highly recommend this movie to anyone considering marriage. Even without the religious connotations, the general premise of marriage being a co...( read more)mmitment for life and something worth fighting for is reason enough to watch this movie.

The acting was pretty much 50/50 of decent acting and stiff, amateur acting. I couldn't help but feel that the actors were talking, walking, standing, etc. like they would in a local church play. Especially with the lines they used and they way the delivered them. If a wholly Christian movie could get over this hump we'd have a great movie on our hands.

Surprisingly enough, there were a few times I actually laughed out loud. It's nice to see a movie like this deliver comedy without compromising it's own integrity.

I think it may have been the overall pacing of the movie, but this movie felt very, very long. Especially towards the end. By then I already knew things had worked out and I was tired of him talking with his parents about it. Eventually it felt like they were just using the same scenes over and over, but with little differences thrown in each time.

Still, this movie is worth watching if you want something to make you think about how much time and thought should go into a commitment like marriage.

I loved the movie. It opened my eyes to faults in my own relationship. I am actually waiting on the Love Dare book now.

the Movie "Fireproof " has been one of the remarkable stories. It made the viewers see how faith in God really works in time of need. The story in the movie depicts the signifance of loyalty and love shown by the couple. Eventhough the lead actor and actress were not excellent in...( read more) there acting, they have portrayed the true meaning of the story by their words and how they relate the situation in reality. The soundtracks were very touching because it was arranged in exact scenes and when you listen carefully to the lyrics of each songs it represented the works and love by One and Only God.

I was disappointed in this movie. The whole way it was shot. I know many people loved the storyline. I will recommend this only to Christians and couples with problems in their relationship/marriage.
