Critic Reviews

  • Susan Wloszczyna, USA Today

    Utterly conventional.

  • Fred Topel, About.com

Unfunny Disney comedy. Sinbad needs a better vehicle.

  • Jeff Vice, Deseret News, Salt Lake City

Sinbad's movie career was hot for about a year with this, Houseguest, and Jingle All The Way. Pretty much the only good scene is where Sinbad fires a ridiculously sized spitball at Tim Allen's oldest son from Home Improvement.

The movie itself was pretty entertaining, and it would get tiring after a while, but sinbad just being in anything makes it so much better!

I totally remember the scene where the feeble white kid slaps a bully. Then, Sinbad teaches him to be manly because knowing how to work a punching bag will solve all of your problems in life.
