i liked the movie, but i found it quite dragged and slow.
there was no good starting and no such suspense they manged to develop in the middle. it could have some turning conversations to keep the interest level high, loved the way it ends. but u might put some effort to wait for it.
one of my favourites!effected me so much,i can just offer this to my friends!very good story with good poen, but not so high quality, not new ideas, but i was interested personally so much about the topic. But i can feel the prejudice against muslims by americans!... sad!
This was a really bizzare movie, I had no clue what might be going on until the nearly end. I recommend this movie if you are into psychological thrillers.
When a young Dutch idealist travels to Morocco to start a food charity he's kidnapped by local terrorists and has to engage in a mental chess match to learn his captors' objectives.
Terrible thriller about communication and money transfers bewteen the west and the arabic world. The torture in this movie is very clear so if you have a weak heart this is nothing for you.
Thumbs up for actor Ryan Phillippe because his Dutch was perfectly pronounced. Brilliant!
It's been a while since I saw a movie with this much substance. It really does say a lot. I'm impress - totally. Fishburne is fast becoming one of my favorite actors. It's a wonderful pleasure to see Phillippe grow into a mature actor from his teen days back in 'Cruel Intentions'. I loved the movie.
TERRIBLE MOVIE. Seriously, if you make a movie about a Dutch guy, make sure that guy can actually speak Dutch. It is such a fake movie and it makes no sense at all. The ending was weird, too.
Good movie, so intense and shocking, It keeps you on the edge of your seat for an hour and a half. The cast is good, a good performance by Ryan Phillippe and a better one by Laurence Fishburne. A film full of twists and with an unexpected ending. If you have a weak stomach, definitely this movie's not for you.
Not the best movie ever, but one of the best I've seen this year. Described in Empire magazine as "Saw for readers of the Guardian Weekly" and I'd have to agree. Probably the best post-9/11 film to deal with the issue of Islamic terrorist groups.
Another thriller for the claustrophobe. Phillipe's Dutch accent is poor, though his acting is otherwise good, and Fishburne makes the most out of his menacing role. This film is Saw for the politically conscious.
