MCT:July 3, 2008Sandy Ricks (Elijah Wood) sent to the seaside town of Coral Key to stay with his Uncle Porter (Paul Hogan) to spend the summer. Flipper arrives in Coral Key & is met by Sandy & a girl named Kim (Jessica Wesson). Sandy leaves Coral Key with his mother and little sister the next morning on the ferry home, he sees Flipper & his pod leaping around the boat to see Sandy off.

if you are a dolhin lover u will love it even if your not its still a nice warm filling to the animals and wot people do to save them its a nice sweet film -

Ok, i get it. it was a dolphin movie. but i really liked it. elijah wood is one of my favorite actors, and he was so good in this movie. the plot is very sweet, and cmon. WHO DOESN'T LOVE DOLPHINS? and i swear, that face elijah wood makes when he cant go to the red hot chili peppers concert is the same one he makes when gandalf dies in The Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring.

it's cute, but it's definitely aimed for the younger audience. surprisingly, flipper is not about flipper. well, it IS, but the focus of the flick is on elijah wood.

An Elijah Wood classic- full of great lines. Wood is smashing in this way underrated comedy about a rebellious teenager and the relationship he forms with a dolphin. I love it...

MCT:April 16, 20071 of Elijah Woods early movies which i still own on video simply for the fact that i Adored Dolphins as a child and still do, they are fantastic mammels. As for the movie, i think its good. Need to get it on DVD tho lol

Well, when I was a kid this got me obsessed with wanting to see a dolphin...and I still haven't...or have I? I saw a whale once if that counts (not!)
