MCT:April 15, 2008really clever, but i think, a bit better than oceans 11/12 (tho maybe thats cause i fancy the arse off ryan reynolds!) either way, it's funny, clever and i love it (and him!!)

MCT:March 14, 2008Performances are strong with Reynolds being pitch perfect in a dead pan role while David Suchet is elegantly sinister in his villainous role. The story is rather conventional, however, and nothing is that surprising (including the multitude of twists at the end, which are all foreseeable). Despite this, it's still fun to watch thanks to its cast and there are nice flourishes of visual style that maintain our interest. Not bad, not great, just a simple yet fun heist film. If you like this then I highly recommend "Stark Raving Mad", which is another heist film that is simple yet fun!

I wasn't really expecting much from this movie. I don't even remember it going to theaters! But after watching it, i gotta say it's somewhat of a diamond in the rough. an unknown that had a nice bite to it! And BOY the twists in the movie were quite unexpected and surprisingly refreshing! If you're on the fence on whether to watch it or not, i would totally recommend watching it. Ryan isn't throwing his witty comments left, right, and centre, though. Granted, he DOES have his comedic moments in the movie, but not as many as you expect from him. I wouldn't consider this a buyer, but i DO recommend watching it to decide for yourself...

MCT:December 22, 2007This was surprisingly good. A unique concept executed perfectly and a number of twists consistently keep the viewer guessing and leads to a satisfying conclusion for all. Well worth watching.
