by far the worst bond film i've seen. there was virutally no story to it and the action sequences were poorly choreographed on all occasions. topol couldn't have made it more silly if he'd have jumped up on a roof and started fiddling for the jews. what was the bit at the end abo...( read more)

I think people think this is better than it actually is because it's sandwiched between two of the most ridiculous Bond films; Moonraker and Octopussy, making this relatively normal outing seem brilliant by comparison. Lest we forget...

One of the more successful James Bond movies on all levels - good characters, good story, and a better balance of action and comedy than any other Moore entry.
