I absolutely loved this film. I had two theories as to how it would end and one of them was right but I liked that fact that I wasn't sure which one.
It has a few slow spots, but overall a very good movie. The chemistry between Ryan Gosling and Anthony Hopkins is electric. Very entertaining and a fairly decent twist at the end.
Anthony is a wealthy businessman who murders his wife in cold blood for having an affair. An assistant DA is not his match in court and he gets off scot free even though he made a signed confession. Interesting twists in the movie.

I don't mind this movie at all. You get two good actors playing a nice game of cat and mouse. Hopkins is clearly just doing this fun for, playing a Hannibal-lite. And Gosling, well, he's good.
Entertaining yarn that's good for an afternoon.
