It?s a silly Comedy/Horror in the style of Braindead & Society. The scene where 7 prostitutes take copious amounts of crack and explode makes it worth a watch alone. The ending is a nice touch too. Enjoy it because they don't make them like this anymore!

Not the king of exploitation films, but it gets a seat at the Round Table for sure. More over-the-top than can be imagined, laugh-out-loud funny, trashy, gory, absurdly ridiculous. You're unlikely to see an adaption of Frankenstein besides this one that involves the concept of ...( read more)"super crack."

It is just so 80s and kitch. Just look at the clothes and the hairstyles! Maybe it's not the greatest horror film in the world but it's certainly one of the funniest.

Hennenlotter is the king of trash. In a good way.

Jeffrey Franken (Lorinz) attempts to re-construct his girlfriend after his home made lawnmower (?) accidently butchers her leaving only her head intact. To obtain the various body parts needed, Jeff takes a decidely unorthodox approach of blowing-up prostitutes and then selecting...( read more) the appropriate appendages. Of course things begin to spin out of control and it's not long before his mish-mash monster is on the loose.

Essentially a schlock spoof of Mary Shelly's Frankenstein, Frankenhooker isn't quite as funny as it thinks it is but is just cheesy enough for B-movie fans to enjoy. For a Henenlotter film it is surprisingly lacking in blood and gore which results in some rather tame exploding body sequences. In a film where the women are given little more to do than strip off, the acting duties fall to Lorinz who unfortuantely can be rather annoying at times. But then when you've got silicone enhanced breasts flashing around the place I doubt if most audiences will care.

Basically this is low brow rental material for watching after several pints down the pub.

I've seen this movie before in a couple different iterations -- obviously Frankenstein, to some degree, but The Brain that Wouldn't Die also came to mind. Frankenhooker is absolutely hilarious, and shamelessly tasteless, which is what I like to see.

See it with a six pack. Is it wrong that I thought she was hotter as Frankenhooker?

Hey buddy! Wanna date? Sometimes hilarious; sometimes just plain cheesy. This is probably my favorite Frank Henenlotter flix; it's macabre sense of humor works so much better here than in his Basket Case series

Frankenhooker...what can I say about movie where a guy resurrects his girlfriend using body parts collected from prostitutes. It's a funny film. The directing is rough at times, the effects aren't great, and it can be disturbing. But if you like cult classics you gotta see this.

This is the worst movie ever made! A sad piece of garbage.
