  JohnRambo123, your review seems to be all about the special effects. Someone who rates a film on the effects is a dimwit. Myself, I thought the special effects were pretty good and even if they wern't, I would still have appreciated this horror classic.

  Those of you complaining that it is nothing like the novel, I think you will find it is only a loose adaption. The idea based on the book, but mostly different. And that was intentional by the Screen writers and director.
