I think everyone who hates this film hates it for the wrong reasons. Firstly i'm perfectly fine with over the top gross out humour as long as it's funny but this film was not and just horribly inconsistent and entirely rotten to the core. The film makes almost no attempt at making the lead character likable and he's just running around, shouting and being an idiot, and not in the usual comedy movie kind of way. Also, i'm perfectly fine with fictional beastiality but not when it's really happening and not plainly obvious animal cruelty which is something this insult of a movie has a lot of. As soon as it began I wanted it to end, the film rightly deserves it's title as one of the worst films ever made. It's essentialy a compilation of depressing, appauling animal cruelty, mean dislikable characters, jokes that are far too desperate and is in general a gigantic piece of low brow trash. Nearer to the end of the film there is a piece of card someone holds up that say's something on the lines of "when is this film going to f**king end?" I'd be lying if I didn't say I wanted to say that about 10 minutes in. I loathed it.

  I'm not going to lie this movie and tom green well...he is funny yes and same goes for the film but still I admit its very underrated and he really does make you laugh none stop with that hole backwards man thing and how he is really just always pissing off his dad and accuses him of molesting Freddy. Well dumb humor that somehow ends up working not really fine but still funny... Gord is like a retard or a slow person who knows all we do know is that he lives with his parents and wants to be an animator so he leaves to live in LA and of course knowing Tom Green he is going to do some crazy stupid shit. So he is turned down but told to get inside the head of one of his creations to make it better, so he heads back home to course mayhem to complete his design and of course he accuses his basted of a father that he touches his brother Freddy. I think the funniest thing in the movie is likely the skateboard scene or the backwards man those two were just funny the others sick and still really good. Tom Green is a horrid actor that still makes me smile and same goes for everything else. I come to a close with really nothing to say other then dumb but funny.

  A stupid, harsh and totally unimpressive garbage from Tom Green, he was once comical, but with this, he ruins his comedy brand, and sinks to whole new low. Crude, tasteless and unfunny only the stupidest people would find this funny. Masturbating and elephant and snorkeling in a toilet is some of the ''funny'' elements to be had here. Bad, this film makes any work by Uwe Boll or Ed Wood look like a Scorsese film by comparison.

  I cannot believe what I have just watched. This is a disgrace to cinema in the best way possible. I have no comment but it is one of the dumbest movies that I have ever laid my eyes on, and for some reason I can't get enough. It's ridiculous to think that I want to watch it.

  This movie should technically be around 1 to 1 1/2 stars but damn this movie is crazy. I watched it all the time in middle school and early high school of all the random places I could have watched it. This movie is so ridiculous that it appeals to that level of humor. Most people would consider this movie as sick and out of its mind, but because it is so out there and basically makes no sense, has no purpose, it therefore is amusing. The "Daddy would like some sausage" scene is probably one of the funniest scenes ever.

  Waaay too gross! I liked the song he was singing with a keyboard and sausages on strings - but the rest was just gross. The premise is trouble alone. The horsie scene and the dead deer scene were a bit shocking. Rip Torn was good as the alleged-abusive father.

Take him out of this environment into a scripted venture where people are acting against him, and the reality is killed along with why it was funny in the first place. It's not so much funny that Tom Green can hump dead animals on camera, it's so much funny that he'll do it in front of bystanders.[/color][/font] [font=Arial][color=darkred]As it stands, 'Freddy Got Fingered' is plot-less. It is basically Green doing one weird and bizarre antic after another with little relation to anything. It's basically a meandering mess, almost like an abstract artist's work if that artist were autistic, and not the 'Rain Man' type of autism.[/color][/font] [font=Arial][color=darkred]'Freddy Got Fingered' is Green's attempt at cinematic gross-out stardom. Sure, he does things that would be considered in poor taste but they are scripted and lose their appeal. Green guts an animal and wears its skin like a poncho, he bites the umbilical cord of a birth, he even eroticzes a horse and aids in its? release. But all the charm is gone when it's Green just doing zany things in a closed environment. What is the fun of seeing people do scripted reactions to Green's antics? He needs to be in the real world, he needs to piss people off, he NEEDS reality.   Yeah, I've got a finger for this movie alright. Believe it or not, it had a promising premise, but suffers from a lack of development, a tossed-together "storyline", unlikeable characters, poor performances and a cop-out ending. As for the "humor", it is poorly written, vulgar, numbingly annoying, disgustingly raunchy and generally jaw-droppingly immature, testing not only the ratings board, but the tolerance of any sensible human being. Well, as a sensible human being, let me be the first to congradulate the film on beating the ratings board and curse it for shattering my tolerance. Or maybe I should congradulate it for that as well, seeing as it did it in a record-breaking under 8 minutes. Now, I know I've been using the word "unbearable" a lot this week, but it is the absolute best way to describe "Freddy Got Fingered", other than one of the worst movies I've ever suffered through and a total waste of precious time. Unless, of course, you're eager to see just how awful it gets, because if there's anything I can say about this movie, it's that when it comes that, it shatters all expectations.

  Tom Green has cited Monty Python as an influence and in this excellent comedy you can definitely see the spirit of Python's vicious side shining through. This is a phlegmy spit in the face of the Hollywood comedy, not just the gross out film, but all the formulaic films that people flock to the theaters to see. From his girlfriend's loving devotion, to his insane attempts to "make his daddy proud. Proud." I can see why critics were offended. Basically Green is showing how unbelievably stupid and inane a lot of the Studio cliches really are, but like Python, while being brutal, still manages to be really, really funny. Too bad making a truly great film ended his career, but thank God he did take a chance on this masterpiece.
