A little cheap and annoying as the subject matter is such an easy target, but seeing Shatner send himself up makes it worth it. Kevin Smith does this kind of stuff so much better though.
Again, Shatner never has any qualms about poking fun at himself. Great fun about a couple of dorks who worship Star Trek and other sci-fantasy films. Star WARS is quoted often in the film. Will and Grace fans: still like Eric McCormack?
Gen-X? Gen-Y ? Or is that Gen-Orig vs Gen-Next? Sci-fi geeks and in particular Star Trek geeks try to find a life or just life in general. The dialogue speaks to me as it sounds much like stuff I would talk about with my friends.

Surprisingly good underrated comedy about two Star Trek fans and their meeting wth William Shatner. He takes the piss out of himself and shows he has a great sense of humour. This movie is for the geek inside you that loves Star Trek.

Shatner cannot save this flick from tiresome characters, flat dialogue and creepy love scenes. Nerds probably love it.
this is an absolute must see for any sci-fi fan over the age of 25. it's really funny, and if you're a sci-fi/90's b-movie fan like me, you'll love it!
The cut I saw of this movie was a little long and a lot of the scenes could have been shortened or cut out all together. The characters were good and the journey they go on was good to watch. It had a lot of fn stuff in it but people not into the fan stuff should be able to fol...( read more)
