INCREdIBlE.
I found this movie very...dramatic. It struck a chord deep within, and not surprisingly, made me shed a tear (or two) in the duration of it. Hilary Swank will now be 1 of my fave actresses, as she played the part so very well^_^
I believe those who can relate to this movie and be unskeptical about it, could really come away with a sense of peace and some inspiration.
Besides the obvious disconcerting issues in this story-which imight add, still exhists today, I also found the lowlights entertaining.
A definite must see for fans of inspirational movies.

Very good movie.(I'll only write the bad points cauzz overall it was a very good movie). I really wished they showed some more brutal gangsta shit that was really happening in the early 90's.Like for example , they hardly showed any school dropouts of room 203 (in the beginniong).Only 1 guy was murdered and 1 guy arrested (it just adds to the depth of the story and the gravity of the situation).
Also the once gangstas of that room stated acting soo white not only by the end of the movie but even in the middle that Hunter Parrish was more gangsta than them. Hilary swank was very good but I wish her divorece should have been mnore touching and life more struggleful.

ACouple from Dumas watched it last night, and we were really impressed.In some of the scenes it was like we were reliving it. I'n just hope this movie will inspire others to help those who are in gangs.I'm sure there are still others who need this type of help.

This truly was an amazing movie and it really showed me the different views of the characters and it helps you realize there really are places that are like that and only if our nation could come together and stop it this world would be a better place. 5 stars on this movie!!

I loved this movie from beginning to end. It had a defined objective and that was races learning to get along no matter what the events going on around them. It is choices we make that will choose our destiny. It showed that amongst violence, there is still peace. No review should be bad about this movie, it is a great movie with good performances especially hilary swank who showed the right times to have the right emotions. If you liked boys n the hood, coach carter, dangerous minds you will like this movie.

An amazingly accurate portrayal of the 'ghetto' lifestyle that some people have had to live in and around for their youth, turning out many gangs and relative violence. This film shows the people who take their lifestyles for granted how lucky we are. Young minds are easily influenced, we just have to guide the the correct way, as Swank did, her tireless efforts turned many cell and grave bound teens into career and family bound young adults, who respected her for this. An excellent film and an excellent cast performance!!!

I loved this movie it was really good. My f and i went 2 c it and i was cry and he almost started cryin, it was such a deep and inspirational story, i wish i had a teacher like her. If more teachers actually cared about the students things would be better

It sounds like an amazing Swank film! I want to see anything that shows the Triumph of Man's inner Spirit. She is a Knockout actress..
