Ok,this is movis is sort of funny and sort of not, which is what makes it interesting. Its definitely campy and Witherspoon is a little too good at being trailer trash. I can also attest that her accent is accurate, as I hear it on a semi-daily basis. One can understand why she is the way she is, although the story needed some serious polishing and sometimes I felt it was gratuitous for the heck of it. The entire Brittany Murphy character could have been cut out for instance. Its campy and interesting. I would have liked to see it more polished, better dialogue, and a little more concise plot.
A real treat. I wasn't expecting the movie to as good as it was.. Kiefer Sutherland does a great job of going twisted in the middle of the movie... Reesr Witherspoon plays a role most would have thought out of character for her and she owned it.
I can definitely see how this movie has acquired a cult following. Being at times brutally violent, and consistently hilarious make this a great film. Reese is surprisingly good, but her voice is really annoying and Keifer is great as well as a twisted psychopath. The only problem I found with this film is like with any cult film it is over-selled by its fans and they all make this film out to be some gore-fest when it really isn't. Though at times this movie can get fuckin freaky and twisted it makes up for the lack of what I actually was expecting.
A shocking and disturbing thriller. Witherspoon is so wild and crazy! I hadn't heard about this film before, and its shock value left me impressed. I liked it a little bit :P
A shocking turn from Reese Witherspoon. She's terrific as she's actually 20 but plays a 16-year-old.
Extraordinary acting and well played.
Certainly recommended!
This movie remind me of the story "Little Red Riding Hood" but in todays time. There is one quote I really love. Watch the movie and tell me which quote it is. I'll be waiting to here from you.
I need to re-watch this since its a while. This is the way I always envision Reese, no matter what movie she is doing. KIDDING! But Keifer was a creepy creep dude.
Based on the story of Little Red Riding Hood, but the adult scary version. Instead of a big bad wolf there is a serial killer. Little Red Riding Hood is a no nonsense take charge sort of girl who fights back. If you like movies that are just odd this one might be for you. The following clip is not the ending, but just the beginning of the relationship between the two main characters.
I love it so much I bought it, its really mad this film, you just cant get dialogue like it. Reese witherspoon is amazing as a trailer park trash school girl. All performances were class! Great writing and subtley funny.

I must have a twisted sense of humor cause I think this is one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. It can be gruesome at times, but it's a dark comedy, not a lighthearted one, you gotta expect that. Reese Witherspoon is brilliant in this. It's the exact opposite of her Legally Blond character.
A really bizarre movie based on the I5 killer in America. Rather funny moments from the main character who is illiterate but some quite shocking scenes too.
This is another one of those 'despite the disturbing parts of the film'...the whole thing is kind of disturbing...but Reese Witherspoon like you've never seen her anywhere else. Crazy, crazy story...but again I was struck by it and it blew me away.
