  Beautiful, simply beautiful! Everything about it was entrancing! Superb acting, fantastic scenery. Meg Ryan was astoundingly funny as well as Kevin Kline. Comedic performances were perfect and the romantic side was so sweet.

  A romantic comedy in which a frantic lover Kate (Meg Ryan) jilted by her fiancé (Timothy Hutton), flies from Canada to Paris, to retrieve him but her plans don't go exactly as she expected. Along the way, she meets up with a fast-talking crook, Luc (Kevin Kline) who uses her to unknowingly smuggle a diamond necklace out of the country. Their banter was fun and Meg Ryan is cute and adorable as ever. Jean Reno co-stars amiably as the cop-with-a-heart who allows Luc to evading him because Luc saved his life once.

  I was on a little Kevin Kline spree at the time (2nd fave actor) and this looked like an 'easy' movie to watch. Despite my hatred of romance movies, it was actually quite good. It was funny enough, there was chemistry between Kline and Ryan etc.

  Fleeting chocolat.My personal outcome...Kasdan is working out his way on scratching the romantic comedy's edges and unfortunately he sacrifices all to a happy ending and some moral thoughts on "how to become a proper citizen".
