March 14, 2009honestly, i didnt like this movie, jason is too darn heartless, when i though he died in the end, he actually got up out of the waters and held the girl. my favorite scene was when he killed the girl under the bridge.lol

March 6, 2009HIGHS: Jason runs and is smart
LOWS: he finds the hockey mask in a farm but he could've found it in the shed with a basketball and hockey stick near the teenagers cabin. (It would just made more sense than a fucking farm) And he keeps a woman tied to his hideaway. (Jason just kills never likes to leave his victims as his prisoner) -

February 7, 2009Screening in New York-2/7/09-AMC 25
Lucky me!,Got to see the screening today & the film was introduced by the actor who plays Jason,besides the leading actor & 2 producers of the film.
Marcus Nispel scores again with another remake of a cult/horror film.This remake is my favorite slasher film.Nispel camera work at times is stunning.Is such a well made film with great score,editing,death scenes & some outstanding effects.Only thing that could've been done,is to go back a little,just to show Jason story as a kid,but it was a fast pace film & straight to the point.I can see the approach for this new version,just having Jason taking care of business.It was brutal in Crystal Lake.Brutal!!! -
January 20, 2009Can't wait to see the movie since Jared is supposed to have the male leading role. Big fan of Jared Padalecki and Supernatural but it's about time he has the lead role in a film other than just Supernatural and other small roles in films such as House of Wax.

November 1, 2008I'm excited. One, the original is only a classic because it did well enough to spawn ten fucking sequels. Two, these movies were so bad it's good movies to begin with. Thirdly, it's Jason back to his old haunts fucking people up. Also, he's running again. He ran in 2 through 5 so fuck off if you say he didn't. Also, Jared Padalecki is a legit actor on Supernatural so if he brings half of his game here, it'll be good. And you know how a remake can ruin the original? If it's better than the original. Fucking people going on about how a remake can ruin the original when only topping the original is the only way you ruin it. So yeah, I'm ready to have the original ruined for me. Cause the original was shit anyway.

September 8, 2008Please please please dont let this be shit. But unfortunately my expectations are not so high. Why? Two reasons. First, they've hired shitty, "teen dream" talentless, duck-fucking actors to be in it (at least they will probably get mutilated). And second? I have not yet seen Rob Zombies name attatched to it anywhere. Say what you will about him, but Rob's got that sick sorta style that would be perfect for this. God I hate teen dream actors. Talentless porceline dummies.
