  Don't go in expecting unpredictable twists and turns, and/or thrills & chills, and you may stand a chance to appreciate it. Maybe the interesting bit is saved up for the last part, IF there's any (obviously, not the latter, but the former). For an >80 minutes film, it could have been more engaging, but given the genius makers we're dealing with, suffice to have even this much. In the absence of options, I'm dead sure to go for the third part (which is indicative of the fact that despite all my praise, I've still found the preys interesting enough).

  The slaughtering continues in the Norweigian mountains with this sequel that continues right after the first one. Slightly better than its predecessor overall. Better paced, more suspensful and even a couple of good scares are thrown in. The kills are bloodier and more graphic too as the killer is unleashed more viciously. A bit more of a backstory is provided to our birthmarked killer also giving him a more eerie presence. If you enjoyed the first film this is a must-see!

  I like the first one very much,not a classic but well made.This one is much better on every level.Acting,horror and nail biting final.There are moments that reminds me of halloween 2(1981) because most of the film is based in a closing down hospital.But again i also like that film too.Again it seem that euro horror out do amercian horror.The french,dutch,norwegean and the spanish to name a few seen to make there movies with passion and cant wait to see whats next..........o yes REC 2 being it on.

  Far, far superior sequel that gets everything right the first one failed at: likeable characters, some bloody deaths and most importantly, suspense.

  I didn't have high expectations for a sequel that brings back to life a killer that had been hit by pickax, took a fall of at least 30 feet onto frozen ice, and spent several hours lying at -20. Despite of this I found Fritt Vilt 2 to be an enjoyable sequel even if somewhat a predictable one. The camera work and sound effects are very and I found the acting even better than in the first movie with Ingrid Bolsø Berdal once again giving an excellent performance as Jannicke, the only survivor of Fritt Vilt 1. I can't really express an opinion on the dialogs as I watched this film in Norwegian and only understood most of it because I speak some Swedish. Why did I not find it as good as the first movie then? First of all what made Fritt Vilt I really good was the setting: the characters were stuck in an abandoned hotel in the middle of nowhere surrounded by high snow which made any attempt to escape very difficult. In the sequel they are in a hospital and a few of the characters could have run out of it earlier than they actually did. Besides, the script has a few flaws that impact the realism of the storyline: 1) If you are a policeman when your foot gets caught in a trap and you are being dragged into a dark room, amazingly faster than the 2 other policemen only a few feet away can run, you'll surprisingly think of using your MP5 to try keep yourself out of the dark room instead of shooting! 2) If you are a policeman and are left in the car while 3 others enter a dark hospital with a homicidal maniac inside,you'll wait till everybody else is probably dead to load your gun and get out of the car! 3) When the homicidal maniac - who has killed all your friends, 1 doctor, 1 nurse, and 5 policemen - manages to disappear you decide to go after him but you obviously forget about the Glock you were holding in the hand and only bring the shotgun and a knife! 4)When you are waiting for the homicidal maniac after signing the guest book you obviously fall asleep! 5) If you are nurse when your favorite patient decides to hunt down the homicidal maniac who just killed your boyfriend, you first think about it for a couple of hours, then make up your mind and run home to grab your hunting rifle but make sure not to call anybody for help! The final scene is neat though: how to put it? Revenge is a dish best served "in the cold"! All in all, I can recommend watching this horror movie: for its genre is definitely well done!

Some of it was a bit ludicrous as it started to become like another Halloween or Friday the 13th sequel but Jannicke was a kick-ass hottie again and that's all that I really cared about. Good gory death scenes and characters you care about. You can't go wrong really.

  Brilliant sequel to the Norweigan horror. The one survivor of the nutcase from the first films' attack wakes up in a hospital thinking shes safe but as strange stuff starts happening she soon realises things aren't over yet and are about to get pretty shitty. It might seem predicatable and to a certain extent it is but like the first film, Cold Prey 2 doesn't always do what you'd expect but also brings to mind some 80's slasher classics at the same time. If you've seen and enjoyed the first one, this is a must-see.

  Fritt Vilt 2 is a solid and enjoyable sequel even if somewhat predictable and cliché as the original, the movie manages to deliver some good gory and tense moment and the camera work, sound effects and acting are better than in the first movie.
