Cool special effects which are hit-and-miss of the vampires. I felt good to see Robert Patrick was the only survivor of the team of bank robbers who fought against his crew who became bloodsuckers. The truth is I really like the first movie better than this straight-to-video sequel.
Saw this with my boyfriend. He had no clue what it was about, and I did. I spent half the movie annoyed because there were no vampires. He spent half annoyed that there were vampires. Obviously two visions which sabotaged each other.
Can't get enough blood lust in this nasty flic. Bad guys are the badest and the good guys are few and far between. Shoot 'em or bite 'em it doesn't matter -they all end up dead and that's what we're hoping for. Yay!
Why did they have to go and ruin the masterpiece that was FDTD. This movie is shit and not something I want to see Robert Patrick in due to his amazing performance in T2. Though one thing that pisses me off is the advertising of this film promoting so much that Danny Trejo and Bruce Campbell are in this film when they are both there for like 5 minutes (and BC's cameo is awful too). If you liked FDTD skip this movie, or if you are like me and wanted to watch it anyways despite all the shit reviews dont get your hopes up.
The POV movie from hell. Every inanimate object gets a POV in this one, whether it a rotating fan or a wheel of a car. The movie's not all that hot, especially since I loved Spiegel's Intruder so much, but maybe now that I know what I'm getting into I could enjoy it more.
The sequel to one of my favorite movies. No main returning cast, and a huge gap in acting talent. No creative directive talent. This movie made me feel sad and not in a good way. Another movie ideology, destroyed by The Sequel. Not going to get into what was wrong with the movie, just not worth it. It just puzzles me, how individuals can call this a finished project. How easy it is to destroy something so beautiful.............
This movie was so bad it was good. I don't know if it was TRYING to be a spoof on horror movies, but it sure did a good job. Certain aspects of the movie reminded me of Joe's Apartment, which is one of my favourite brain cell-killers. And did I mention Robert Patrick sure looks fine in this film? There's lots of action near the end for those who like gunfights and explosions.
I think they should have never made this one. There is very little that is even mildly entertaining about it. If you want to watch a sequel to the original, skip this one and go right to the third. It is much better.
This is the first of two direct to video made follow ups to "From Dusk Till Dawn" and this one has very little to do with the first one. In "From Dusk Till Dawn 2: Texas Blood Money" a criminal named Buck (Robert Patrick) put together a gang for a bank robbery down in Mexico. But while spending a night at a motel before the robbery a member of the gang gets bitten by a vampire and becomes one himself. Even if you liked the first movie, I doubt you will like this one, the plot is lame (vampires robbing a bank, I mean come on!) and the movie is just overall dull. The cover of the movie proudly states that Bruce Campbell is in the movie and sure enough he is for about 2 minutes in what can possibly be his worst role ever. Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino are credited as executive producers, but I doubt they had about anything to do with this movie besides giving the title away. This is really not worth watching.
what are Robert Patrich and Bo Hopkins doin' in this movie I'll never know. What I know is that if you see this as a sequel to Rodriguez From Dusk Till Dawn, you hate it as much as I did. If on the other hand you see this as.. simply a vampire movie.. well... it's ok.. for an halloween night at home with friends...
SFX are poor, supporting cast is terrible, the script is bad (in fact, the only relationship between this movie and the original one lasts for about 5 min, and with a character that died in the first movie).
This is bad.
Kick ass action/crime/horror movie from Robert Rodruigez and Quentin Tarantino. Savini steals the show as Sex Machine, a biker with a literal crotch rocket.
This movie is worth watching, if for no other reason, than to see George Clooney play a complete tattoo covered badass and Tarantino play his absolutely psychotic brother! Very entertaining!
The worst of the trilogy. They really pushed the fact that Bruce Campbell was in it, but he's in the first five minutes...in a movie within the movie. Crap.
