No budget documentary filled with talking heads which skates around the issues about profanity in society but fails to crystallize the central idea that the liberals need the moral defenders for their swearing to have its power. It was curious that for many the f-word had become ...( read more)mundane and the battle had moved on to the c-word - once that has fallen somebody will have to invent some new ones. A more interesting question to explore would have been why humans tend towards destruction when society doesn't impose moral boundaries.

Fun flick that looks at the history and usage of one of the most scandalous yet overused words in our vernacular. Stays objective, though interviews folks from various sides of the morality argument. Worth it, in my opinion, just for Billy Connolly's contributions.

Interesting and often hilarious. A documentary about the F word was bound to be made sooner or later. The George Carlin section is awewome and the clips from multiple movies are a nice touch. Well made.

A good movie, but less than comprehensive. Sure, Lenny Bruce and George Carlin were represented, but no Richard Pryor? And how do you make a documentary on the word FUCK without even mentioning Pulitzer Prize winner David Mamet? Am I wrong?

    -Daring? Yes

The word "fuck" and its variations are used 857 times, a figure that would mean a millionaire sum of mon...( read more)ey, as explained in the film. This documentary is exclusively for the lovers of the word and for those who overuse it every damn single second of their lives. If you're looking for an informative and cultural piece, stay away. As for Bill Plympton, either he made a mistake without knowing it beforehand, or he was paid a lot.

Funny, interesting and i suppose slightly contrevertial. Well...maybe if your an american, us europeans have moved past being shocked by fuck and regard any1 who is as mentally unevolved, its more like a natural part of our vocab now. Still, very entertaining and the historical a...( read more)spect and the influence and infamy of the word and swearing in general over the last centuary is very interesting to find out about. Not to mention having a bit of George Carlin in it.
