In the first story, Fuquing delinquent Amerika and his friends decide to start making a little extra money by blackmailing housewives who engage in extramarital affairs while their husbands are out of town. When Amerika's own mother becomes a mark for the gang, the whole charade quickly begins to collapse. In the second tale, Pingtan youth Dragon longs to follow in his older brother who recently escaped to Ireland. Though all hope seems lost when Dragon loses the money that he was going to use to fund his escape, his family makes a substantial sacrifice in order to ensure his illegal passage. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi
