Bender's Game is my favorite of the three Futurama movies that I've seen so far. It still can't match the cleverness and humor of the original four seasons, but at least it has an amusing plot and a quite a few moments that brought a smile to my face. It did end rather abruptly, ...( read more)but this combination of D&D and Tolkien fantasy (among other things) is a much more enjoyable than the first two attempts at rekindling the Futurama magic.

Enough already - don't destroy the memory any further ! Jokes ? Wit ? Invention ?

Not nearly as fun or imaginative as it's predecessors, but still a fun feature length outing with everyones favorite Star Trekkers. Dungeons and Dragons geeks (like myself) will find many nice little 'in-jokes' to smirk at, but I can't help but feel that such a vast and varied wo...( read more)rld was not mined for laughs nearly as much as it could have been. Although it was nice to see the adorable 'Nibbler' have more to do, it was ultimately just okay and the brilliance of 'Benders Big Score' really stands out. Can't wait for 'Into The Wild Green Yonder'.

The third direct to DVD adventure of the Planet Express crew starts out a little slow. The 90 minutes episode takes a while to find its direction, but once the characters stumble into a fantasy world (thanks to Bender's Dungeons and Dragons obsession) that is full of movie refere...( read more)nces (including Star Wars and especially the Lord of the Rings trilogy) the film gets back on track and pretty much bursts with crazy and hilarious ideas. It was about damn time for Matt Groening to pay reference to the greatest movie trilogy of our times. And its a nice nod towards the late Gary Gygax, inventor of D&D, as well. In other words: for geeks and Futurama fans and a lot of fun.

I am a big fan of The Lord of the Rings, so to see Futurama do a parody was great. The storyline seems a little odd at first, but it comes together in the end.

pretty awesome as far as futurama goes, just hated all the nerd feature in it. way too much D&D for me, but hey, thats what the movie was based on

The best and the funniest of the three Futurama movies. Some of it is a little specific to nerds (like me) and D&D as it is dedicated to Gary Gygax but still has the most funny I've seen from this franchise for awhile.

"So it's all come down to this... a dungeon... and dragons!"

Ahah, awesome movie. Really nice way to make fun of 'dungeon and dragons'. "Who needs girls?!"

Definately not Futurama at its best - but still a pleasure.
