just fine...
The theme is kinda interesting, but overall is a bad-written script...not much effort really...
Wong Jing should disaapear from the front scene and stop acting, what a waste...what a joke....
Eason Chan, Anthony Wong Chau-Sang, Tony Leung Ka Fai

This one proves that Wong Jing can't do serious films. It's poorly written with lack of direction. The fighting sequences are barely watchable. Everything just falls flat. You would feel less offensed of paying the corrupted cops than paying to see this cheesy piece of crap.

Wong Jing attempted to tell the familiar story of corrupted HK Police in the 70s from a number of perspectives, but with poor effect. The characters appeared shallow and the movie lacked focus.

Another typical HK crime drama starring all the usual faces; the highlight of this movie to me was the realistically recreated, and well timed mind you, injuries that occur throughout the film. An excessive amount of 'blood-spray' makes the action less gritty.
