I think this movie is a continuation of the anime series where Ed landed on the other world and Al finding a way to get back his brother. I finished the anime series that's why I can appreciate the movie. The ending was great, Ed and Al are together again.
The final closing for one of the best animes out there, however it would be suggested that you watch all 51 episodes of the show beforehand, or else it will most likely not make any sense
One of the best movies ever. I really loved it! Its actually somewhat confusing though. The art was great! But, it had Noah whom I do not like very much o_O. Shes like an even worse (well, maybe not worse) version of ROSE. Ew. I hate that woman DX
If you have watched the anime series of this movie, you will definitely understand this movie FMA: Conqueror of Shamballa is the continuation of the ended series of this anime. In this movie revealed what the would be the chosen destiny of the two Elric brothers. It had answered almost all the questions of most Full Metal Alchemist fans. It's my all-time favorite Japanese animated movie. I like how the story continues and how it ended though it's sort of bittersweet ending. To tell you the truth, I was depressed about how this movie has ended. But this movie has to be ended like this, an open-ending that makes you wonder what may probably happen next. Full Metal Alchemist is one of the most popular anime worldwide.
it's ok, but i personally feel that the FMA anime is real sucky. and as this movie continues from the anime it can't be any better. besides i think its a bad idea to drag FMA to the real world, as it is completely unrelated to the whole story altogether.
absolutely wonderful. The anime is so well thought out and creative, and this movie continues the trend with added historical accuracy. This was a very satisfying end to the series, and my only regret is there is no more. All FMA fans should watch this, and all anime fans need to see the series...then watch the movie!
Don't even think about watching this unless you've seen all 51 episodes of the series. You can't just jump right into it and pick up the story, which is fine by me as it was made for the fans!
This closes most of the doors left open from the series, with only a few unanswered questons to keep you guessing. It's really just a longer 52nd episode. Not that that's a bad thing...
A wonderful send off to the Anime series! Once again it picks up a few years after the Anime ended, and we see what has become of the state of the world and the young stars, Ed and Al. Bouncing back and forth from not one, but TWO worlds, we see the parallels and differences as the world tries to cope with the magic of alchemy and the steady drumming of war. Wonderful voice acting, plenty of action, and a more mature look of the Anime gives this a delightful viewing. A must!
A good continuation/conclusion of the FullMetal Alchemist saga, following up on the events that took place after the series ended. The animation and music was great as always and the story was quite good as well, especially as it smoothly tied up many loose ends. Altough I haven't seen all that many anime flicks in my life, this one is surely one of the best and most memorable.
I really want to see this movie! I love Ed's and Al's storie. It's sad and still so beautiful. Ah, and I don't usually like sad things. Isn't it weird? <3
Really really good this is one of my fav anime seris and was very very down when the seris ended so quickly and and this movie tied overything together for the short hero
I loved it! I watched it before watching the series, and as confusing it was, I loved it! MY FAVORITE FUCKING MOVIE IN THE FUCKING WORLD!!! ED! MUSTANG! WHOO! (not the pairing! the people!!!)
I loved this movie. If you have watched the Full metal alchemist series this is a must see. This is what happens after the end of that series and is just as good!
I liked this movie just because there was this guy who looks like Hughes, but the true is that the movie is not that good, then again the end of the anime sucks.
Not as good as I would have liked but very happy with the ending. There better be no more though - a series 2 would be horrible! It ended in just the right way.
This movie is fantastic. If you liked the anime series, you'll absolutely love this. It retains the charm of the series, but has its own feel to it. Updated animation and spot-on acting also help to make this movie a success. You do not want to miss this one. Though i wasn't happy with the ending. the two boys should have been allowed to stay in their own world and not the one we live in. they shouldn't have had their alchemy taken away but the ending was the ending. Nice to see the familiar faces.
Ok, I loved it! but some parts I didn't like, especially their ending choice of.....not going to ruin it. But anyway, I loved it but some things I didn't like.
