Worse than napolean dynamite. Thismovie was just some dumb-shit gangsta film about a rapper gettin shot. What the hell is that? I don't give a god damn about 50cent.
i was surprised he actually can act a little. Well most of the rappers can't really. (Take ice-T for example). The usuall black storyline. Gang bang, Lick My 9, Niggaz this Niggaz Dat & Niggaz 4 Life.
He definately worth mo than 50Cents. Get Rich or Die Tryin'.
A orphan boy(50 cent) raised in the streets gets heavily involved in the drug trade. He escapes his world of violence and and greed for his music career. This was a better than average story of the lives of street gangsters.
The script is lousy, the acting is pretty bad and I couldn't identify with the characters. Even though there were some great moments I wouldn't recommend this movie.
wow i have not yet seen all of this movie i dont think that i plan 2 because i mainly know what this is about...i have not seen this in ages though..this was an ok movie 2 watch but this is nothing special 2 see...this has a good cast of characters throughout this movie...this is an ok movie but its nothing special..
This is complete shit. What kin of mindless, mentally challenged psycho would want to watch this peice of un-interlectual shit? I mean who really gives a fuck about the life of some loer who calls himself "50 cent"?!! Well, anyone who does has serious issues and should see a psychiatrist. i could go on ranting about this all day, but I dont want to waste my time on this pathetic excuse for a movie.
I don't actually know how I was brought to see this. It's obviously narcissism to the highest degree imaginable, and yet it is still interesting. 50 Cent may not be Oscar quality (in fact, he's got about as much acting personality as a block of wood), but he tries to make us like him, at least. (doesn't really manage with me).
Screw the fact that you know the end before you see the movie (50's still alive, isn't he?). His character may be called Marcus, but the story is about 50, face it. If you like rap (which I don't, at all), you should like it a lot. If you don't really, then you may find it a bit dull.
The rest of the cast is average, I guess. Terrence Howard shines as Bama, and Joy Bryant is sweet, but not filled with persona.
Conclusion: Average acting, average script, average camera angles ... basically, an average movie. But you'll laugh at the principal of it's production.
For the most part this movie actually kept me, well, interested enough to keep watching. Some pretty lame parts, some boring parts, but enough (though few) good parts to be worth the watch. Once.. watch once. Not terribly satisfied by the end though.
About the most fake and destructive philosophy known to mankind. This is the height of immaturity and irresponsibility for an icon and figure of respect to portray this message.
The movie was a documentary and was filmed like a documentary ... dull. There was no suspense and everything was predictable. The only surprise was 50 got shot. Watch this to learn how the life of a gangster is like but dont watch this solely for entertainment sake cuz otherwise you'd be disappointed big time like me.
