Ghost Busters (Ghostbusters) Reviews and Ratings

Pretty funny. It should be common sense that you need to watch this. I mean, it's a classic! (and i can't really blame people for claiming it classic, seeing as to how it's one of the very few good things that came out in the 80's)

There's something great coming into the neighborhood, and we're ready to believe in ghosts. When the University downsizes the parapsychology department, doctors Venkman, Stantz, and Spengler are fired from their jobs but then set up shop as parapsychologists specializing in psych...( read more)ic phenomena. As the Ghostbusters who rid the city of bizarre apparitions, their talents are severely tested when the bewitching Dana Barrett and her nerdy neighbor become possessed by demons living in their building. They now come face to face with an ancient evil force with plans to raise hell in Manhattan!

Directed by Ivan Reitman, Ghostbusters features excellent acting performances from the following cast:
1.) Bill Murray (Dr. Peter Venkman)
2.) Dan Aykroyd (Dr. Raymond Stantz)
3.) Harold Ramis (Dr. Egon Spengler)
    4.) Sigourney Weaver (Dana Barrett)
    5.) Rick Moranis (Louis Cully)

Just as the lyric to Ray Parker Jr.'s hit track goes, "who are you gonna call?" It's fun listening to that song at any moment of the day, even when you're at work, but it's best when I watch a classic '80s comedy called Ghostbusters. Yeah, I hear of bug exterminators, but those who hunt down ghosts are another: they came to infested areas, they saw their targets, and they kicked their butts. And they also brought in the action scenes that sometimes either amused me or blew my mind away. When I saw that Marshmallow Man, I would mistake that for a balloon float for a holiday parade, but it makes me get hungry and want to eat marshmallows, too. Ghostbusters is pure supernatural comedy, and whether you believe in ghosts or not, I'd like you to enjoy it as you watch it.

  • November 16, 2009
Probably one of the best comedies ever. You've got Bill Murray, whom no one can deny and also thrown in are Dan Akroyd and crazy Rick Moranis. Then you've got Sigourney Weaver, enough said. But what makes this movie so great is the fact that everyone is so enthusiastic in the tea...( read more)m, except Bill Murray who's just in it for the women, even if they're Zule.

Viendola mas friamente mucho tiempo despues me sigue gustando. Review:
Oh boy,i absolutely love Ghosbusters since i was a kid and 2009 is a year of celebration because one of the most funniest comedies of all time celebrates 25 years since it s release and Ghostbusters is one of those movies that will never die in my opinion. This movie is very remembered by his amazing cast, great special effects and Ray Parker s catchy song but if you want to some fun,who ya gonna call?GHOSTBUSTERS!!!!

Bill Murray steals the show as the funny but sarcastic Dr.Peter Venkman. Is really cool to see Murray at his best because he is one of the most funniest actors of all time.I can t stop laughing with him because that s impossible.Venkman may be interested in getting girls instead of catching ghosts but he s the heart and soul of the team and a natural leader.Dan Aykroyd is another comedy genious in the movie as Ray Stanz.I love his face expressions, freaking funny aswell.I loved Harold Ramis as the group s egged brained Egon Spengler.I had no idea tnat was him but even with his serious look,he is so amazing.Wow,i loved Sigourney Weaver as Dana Barret. She was great but she s even better in Aliens.Oh can t forget Rick Moranis as the retarded Louis Tully and the first appearence of two of the most emblematic characters of the movie:Slimer and the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man.

Ivan Reitman is one of the best comedy directors of all time.He made Ghostbusters such a funny movie that the audience can have a great time and still today,Ghostbusters is such a phenomenon around the world that will never die and it will continue with the long awaited third installement.

Ghostbusters is still one of the most funniest, entertaining and spectacular comedies of all time, conquering audiences of all ages.Personally,it won t have another amazing comedy just as fun as Ghostbuster.A classic not only of the genre but of cinema history,Ghostbusters is one of the best movies ever made.

What can one say about the Ghostbusters that hasn't already been said?

Anyway the cast is one of the most well built casts I have seen in a movie especially a comedy movie and especially a comdey movie about guys that capture ghosts and save New York City. To start off with l...( read more)ets look at the Ghostbusters of Bill Murray,Dan Aykroyd,Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson. The cast of these guys is what captivated America and blew our minds. Murray hits you with the comedy,Aykroyd also hits you with the comdey, and so on and so forth. The contribution of Sigourney Weaver adds in a love interest that every classic movie has to have. Of course under the layer of the main cast of Ghostbusters comedy lays the comedy of Rick Moranis. Rick Moranis gives us more comedy in the Ghostbusters movies when the Ghostbusters are not on screen. Enough cannot be said about the main Ghostbusters all brilliant in their own way. Murray was the charm,Aykroyd the every man,Ramis the smart one and Hudson the street guy with city knowledge. Of course cant go without mentioning the great music in the movie and of course Ray Parker Jr.'s Ghostbuster's theme song.
