The four soon set off on an increasingly revealing journey of personal vulnerability, boundary-crossing and derring-do... all for the sake of a grinning gnome. As Amanda sheds her prejudices and fears, she also unfolds some hidden resentments and losses in her own life.

    This is an absolutely fantastic short. I wish so much that it was somehow a full length film! You can watch it on YouTube if you like. It's in two parts.

    I'm a huge fan of Lauren Graham and this will give you a taste of why. In the Gilmore Girls, it's all about her ability...( read more) to rattle through wacky, humourous, sarcastic dialogue as if with a friend at the mall. In this film, she barely has anything to say but is able to act the part very wonderfully with body language.

    It amazes me that something so short could leave me with so much to think about and an understanding of characters that I've only briefly met. It reminds me of a couple of short episodes in my own life when you only catch a glimpse of the life of another but will feel connected forever whether or not you ever see them again.
