A small Munich neighborhood is a favorite haunt for students, beatniks, and struggling artists and poets. Martin (Werner Enke) is a songwriter of dubious talents, and Henry (Henry van Lyck) is an out-of-work actor of similar ability. After Martin apathetically witnesses a burglary, he falls asleep.
