Anyone who liked the first Goal movie should enjoy this.
It continues the story of Santiago who gets transferred to Real Madrid.
But some actions of football sequences are n't too realistic like shots that Santi does :S -

MCT:March 8, 2008Really Enjoyable although all the Real Madrid players seem to do is laugh and kick the ball about in the changing room. I don't think i would like to live out my footballing as a substitue and as a team i would not buy a player who is going to leave at the end of the season - sucks to be Newcastle!!! Seriously, winning the premier league or even the Spanish League is more important that the Champions no? Ok, well, liked it a lot but he should have just run the little brother over in his car.

It was SLIGHT better than the first surprisingly this felt a bit more of a film but nothing really original. I mean the whole journey of an athlete and all; regardless, it was pretty good.

Ce deuxième épisode a été très décevant pour moi : trop de romance et le personnage de Muñez prend un mauvais tounant... ok, il est toujours aussi sexy!
This sequel was a big disappointment for me : too much romance and the character of Muñez takes a wrong turn... ok, he's still very sexy tough! -

MCT:December 6, 2007Ahora juega para Real Madrid. Es interesante observar un poco las dificultades que acarrea la fama para los jugadores pero fuera de eso no termina de encajar. Los partidos en los que insertan a los actores no son realmente convincentes. A ver en que acaba esta saga futbolera.

Goal! 2 is the second part of the Football movie trilogy Goal! was released on February 9, 2007 in the UK and will be released on December 21, 2007 in the United States.
The cast and crew are currently working on the final installment of the trilogy, Goal! 3, which is scheduled for release in 2008. -

The follow up the the good football drama of 2006.
Unfortunately the movie does not work like the first one. The family situation is totally irrealistic and some of the scenes (like the Lamborghini one) is pathetic.
The football side of the story is the nicest one but is not capable of saving this movie. -

Well i don't think i can say it was the 'dream' that we had hoped for. The plot was predictable and the movie was ruined by horrible camera angles and crappy sound effects. It was mostly a parade for superstar footballers than a movie about Santiago. Overall it wasn't a great movie atall.
