I cannot deny my love for rubber suited monsters and small scale models of Tokyo. Plus in this one you get to see a rubber suited Godzilla kick the crap out of CGI aliens. It is almost a Metaphor for my take on Special effects.

Don't go in expecting anything other than Godzilla smashing stuff "real good". Fans of the series and it's immortal anti-hero will be in popcorn heaven.

Only the Japaneese can make a good GODZILLA movie. Had a great time with this. Sure, the MAN IN SUIT effects are cheesy compared to bog time Hollywood FX, but the intent is great AND I enjoy the sense of scale and scope. Godzilla looks KA-FRIGGIN-HUGE, and that is something Holly...( read more)
