Rodan makes a well deserved return, and he gets a very big kaiju role, which he deserves more of. Although the human drama is slow, the movie unexpectedly gives all the characters, human and monster alike, unique and likable personalities.

"I'm a pteranadon enthusiast!"
That's what pops in my mind when I think of this movie. While the action is pretty awesome, the human drama is terrible. However, baby Godzilla is a lot cuter and less annoying than Minya... -
MCT:July 25, 2007One of my favorite Godzilla movies of all time, easilly. Mechagodzilla is just plain cool looking in the movie, and Heisei Godzilla (as usual) is just bad ass. Rodan makes a well deserved return, and he gets a very big kaiju role, which he deserves more of. Plus, we see the first of Baby Godzilla, and he's actually entertaining and cute, and doesn't look super fake either!
I would honestly say this goes as #2 on my all time favorite giant monster flicks. Definately see it if you love Godzilla or just Kaiju in general. -

A fun and colorful entry, but really nothing overly special. Definitely worth a look, especially for the reappearance of Rodan, and the introduction of a new baby Godzilla, who really puts Minilla to shame. Just not one of the absolute best.

I cant explain it. I'm a godzilla mark. This one of the better written films. And the addition of Rodan just sweetens the deal.

Wicked movie. One of the best. The 90's era stuff was amazing. And best of all: No fucking aliens or Minilla.
