Highly enjoyable film from Japan's Sogo Ishi. It's not his best film, and it's nowhere near as frenetic as say ELECTRIC DRAGON 80,000 V, but it's not supposed to be. The packaging and marketing of the film makes it seem like it's an action-packed epic akin to Ryuhei Kitamura's AZ...( read more)

terrible fights with really quick cuts that don't let you see any action whatsoever despite gallons and gallons of blood. Confusing plot and stupid ending. It was an ordeal to watch to the end.

I enjoyed this. Not Sogo Ishii's best movie. But a decent one. Tadanobu Asano and Masatoshi Nagase are great in it. And the storyline is good. Overall a decent movie.
