Lives intertwine when a middle-aged professor (Sean Campion) with a nasty tendency to chase after his pupils breaks up with one of his conquests (Fiona Glascott) in order to repeat the pattern with another student (Fiona O'Shaughnessy). Shunned, Clara (Glascott) goes on to have a lesbian affair with a local reporter (Flora Montgomery), who turns out to be more than a little possessive. In an effort to get away from the needy reporter, Clara manages to attract the woman who had stolen the affections of her professor in the first place. Goldfish Memory was filmed entirely in Dublin, Ireland, and also features Keith McErlean, Peter Gaynor, and Jean Butler. ~ Tracie Cooper, Rovi

Critic Reviews
-
Dennis Schwartz, Ozus' World Movie Reviews
It is a vacuous and predictable 'looking for love' story that is surprisingly entertaining due to its fast-pace.
-
Rob Thomas, Capital Times (Madison, WI)
Gill's screenplay is more amusing than truly funny, but she gets the characters right, and that's more important in the long run.
-
David Nusair, Reel Film Reviews
...fast-paced and surprisingly enjoyable...
-
Jon Popick, Planet Sick-Boy
Steeped in the act of sex yet shows less skin than the 2004 Taliban Fashion Show.
-
Laura Clifford, Reeling Reviews
Cinematographer Ken Byrne, shooting in DVCAM, achieves some stunning, watery imagery using natural light
