The half an hour plus car chase is way, way too freaking long. Just way too long. The only movie with a car chase that long that works for me is Smokey and the Bandit

This movie was saved, for the most part, by the chase scene that they filmed brilliantly. Nonstop driving and crashing along a predetermined course lined with cameras. Superb!

Half of this movie was really bad acting, pitch dark and unsharp pictures and terrible sound that made me wonder why I'm seeing it.
The other half was a kinda good car chase which is pretty much the reason for giving this film any stars at all.
Lucky us Halicki didn't do so many movies.

Really. You peeps aught to look at the year in the title. 1974. I saw this in the theatre when it came out. Mostly shot in Long Beach and Torrance CA. Some of the streets have changed since then though.
