Despite its admirable intentions, it lacks enough dramatic power and strength in its intended message about evil and conformity - and Mortensen's unconvincing performance doesn't do much either.

This movie is anything but what the title says. It was boring and slow, and the ending, I only call it an ending because the credits apeared. It concluded nothing, NOTHING!!! The acting was lame and the whole movie was honestly a pain to sit through. THe thing that bothered me mo...( read more)st of all though was that they were all supposed to be German, yet none of them had German accents, they all had british accents or no accent at all. Throughout the entire movie there were maybe three German phrases used. Just a waste of time.

What did this movie teach me? That Viggo Mortensen is lame when he doesnt have a sword.

A very affecting film, with superb acting and competent direction. Not bad, BUT too old subject which leads misinformation. There is no more German Nazis. I don't see new films about current Nazis. World is full of drama. Misinformation, desinformation and pre-historic animals such as Mammoths, Dinosaurs.
