"jaws with claws"
"jaws" was indeed a classic and wonderful on so many levels..
Grizzly all though not as masterful as "jaws" still holds its ground in the "when animals attack" genre ..a non stop thrill ride from start to finish -

This horror drama takes on a whole new dimension if you are familiar with the 1975 film "Jaws," which this movie copies almost scene by scene. For this reason it is a classic of bad cinema.

Jaws on land. Gotta love when the horses head comes off. With Cristopher George of Exterminator fame. I wonder why he's famous at all?

In Grizzly.......
"Just when you thought if was safe to go into the woods".....
I saw this movie too years ago and it scared the daylights out of me as a kid. Come to think of it,this was the first of several movies that really copied the formula of "Jaws" hook, line and sinker. But in all aspects,Grizzly was totally different. Instead of dealing with a killer great white shark in "Jaws",the movie "Grizzly" deals with gruesome murder of some campers on a hiking expedition in a national state park and a ranger going after a 18-feet man-eating grizzly bear that is on the rampage and on the loose in the woods.
This was very suspenseful, very suspenseful with twists and turns and sheer terror every second. It was just that intense. Never mind if is was a "B" grade movie starring none other than Christopher George, but this was one of the highest grossing movies of that came out during the summer of 1976
