This is what happens when self-indulgent retards get their hands on too much money. Although DiCamillo is hilarious.

'Haggard' is brought to us by the crew of the CKY videos, who are more famously known for their efforts in the TV show 'Jackass'. Based on a true story from Ryan Dunn's life. 'Haggard' is both a fun movie, and one that even though a lot of the scenes are surreal, or would never h...( read more)appen, the viewer can find something that they relate to.

The movie tells the story of Ry, who is played by none other than Ryan Dunn, and his break up with his long term girlfriend, Glauren, who wastes no time in find another man. Unfortunately for Ry, that other man is called Hellboy, and himself and Glauren have shared more than just secrets with each other.
In an attempt to 'get over' Glauren, Ry seeks comfort in booze, and his friends, Valo and Falcone. However, Ry's situation has caused him to act in an immature fashion, which puts a great strain on his friendship with Valo, who is determined to get Ry through this ordeal.

With Bam Margera at the helm of this independent production, 'Haggard' has a unique atmosphere surrounding it, and it is not afraid to experiment with such things as music and its transitions, as well as lighting and filters to create a perfect mood for various scenes.
A lot of the editing isn't bad, but you can still notice a little continuity problem in certain shots. With that factor put to one side, 'Haggard is highly enjoyable. in fact, some would probably go as far as to say that this a dumb, but entertaining movie.

Not all of the performances are great, but considering that the cast aren't professional actors (actually, most of them are professional skateboarders) the majority of the acting is pretty good.
If you're expecting something that is more along the lines of 'Jackass', then you will be very disappointed, however, it doesn't stop the cast from performing the occasional stunt to fill in a scene, but nothing as high octaine as in the 'Jackass' franchise.

'Haggard' is more than happy to NOT take its self seriously, which I personally think adds to the appeal of the movie.
I for one, really enjoy watching this movie, and from personal experience, I think it is ideal to watch a week or two after a relationship has ended. I think some will be surprised at how much it manages to reassure the broken hearted.

Wether it's a night in with the lads, or an evening with a couple of your female friends, I think, depending on taste, this could be the ideal movie for such an occasion. And if you are big fan of H.I.M. you will be delighted to hear that the majority of the soundtrack is provided by H.I.M.

Brandon DiCamillo has stated that one of his favorite actors of all time was Peter Sellers. I think Peter would've been proud of him here. Switching between various characters throughout, Brandon effortlessly carries the entire film and saves it from lovesick relationship purgato...( read more)ry in an epitaph that would've read similar to Clerks 2. I found myself fast-forwarding through the film to the parts with Bran Dico and Raab. They are easily the funniest duo here--Haggard would have been a dead duck without them.

    What piece of shit.
Not good, not funny, not entertaining.
Just lame dialouge and a horrible soundtrack
    consisting of HIM mostly.

ps. Come out of the closet Bam
