July 24, 2009This movie was so freaking stupid! This movie was the WORST remake ever created. The only reason why these stupid remakes is because they have no imagination. This sucked BIG TIME! The Halloween movies are classics and should be left alone! Anyone who liked this movie has'nt got good taste in horror movies cause all this movie is, is a badly done *** movie. Rob Zombie should stick to music bot movies!

June 10, 2008this movie friggin rocks. a lot of people don't like it, but i do. i think it's one of zombie's best films. maybe i just like it cause Danielle Harris is in it though, lol. anyway, i really reccomend this movie to halloween fans!!!!! :)

January 14, 2008I thought this was the greatest movie of 2007. I loved how Rob let the viewers know how Michael got to be wat he was a great killer.The other ones just showed the killings and didnt really give the audience a explanation as to y he was like that but i loved the movie one of my top 5 of course. If u havent seen it watch it its worth it.

January 12, 2008Well I didn't hate it... Hell some of us kind of wanted to know why mike is the way mike is. But I gotta say seeing it the way Zombie wrote and directed it, For me was to say the least "rushed" just to create a backstory/ prequil to the past and still the best Halloween 1978. Still I did enjoy this one.. Though it didn't do much for the franchise fanbase (Like me) in and of it's own right this was probally Rob's best yet. I mean for just being another notch to add to his directing skills. And as for casting the roles.... Seems to me the only true vet. to at least the Halloween series was Danielle Harris considering she was in part 4 and 5! RIP Donald, Mr. Atkid, Mrs. Hill.you are and always will be missed. Also I also find that a bit puzzling as to how Micheal would know what his little sis looks like after all them years lock away..One more thing, for those of you that know, I remember someone saying they'll stop making these (Halloween movies) when the # reaches 20..

December 20, 2007Well, I thought reinventing an old classic would just make me mad to watch it, but I'm really glad I took the time. This was really good, still the old storyline with a bit a little twist and the good old Rob Zombie perversity. I was impressed. I think the reason why everyone is saying there was no suspense is because we seen the original a 100 times and the made over versions. But I liked the fresh look at it and I think everyone who likes the whole series should really watch this.

November 6, 2007For a Zombie film it was an good movie. For a re-make of the original it fell short. Rob falls short of thinking outside of the norm for him. Ok we know you can put the horrors rednecks and living in trailer parks into a horror story, you've done it several times, was hopping for something different from you, but it just isn't as horrible as a young boy killing his family in middle America. Thats what the whole horror was! Heck kids are a dime a dozen these days that live in trailer parks and kill there parents lol. After the first 10 minutes I said to myself,"screw it! Don't be a purist and enjoy the movie!" Well I did enjoy it as I have the other Zombie films, but please Rob grow a little and show us you can think outside your world!

November 5, 2007Ok everyone is entittled to there opinion of this film but it's definatly one for people who are not mega fan's of the original. My complaint is not that micheal is too talk or that there was to much blood or sex or even that he neglected to use the camera styles used in the orignal which helped cause all the suspense that the orignal brings. No My problem with this film is that the backstory is not believeable if you have watched and payed attention to the original. Firstly Haddonfield was a community of middle class americans and micheals parents were no different to everyone in the the community there was no stepdad and his mum certainly never had to dance for money. for me the backstory was pointless as i could not believe it which ruined the rest of the film for me. However i do feel if this had been a stand alone film given a different name i would have enjoyed it

I Don't See What People Are Complaining About "Ohh Rob Used To much Blood, Oh To Much Sex, He Made Michael To Tall, Oh It's not The Original".
Well As For The Blood I Think If You Were To Kill Someone There Would Be Alot Of Blood!, The Sex Jeez Thats Basically What Teenagers Do These Days So Thats Realistic!, And You Hardly Notice Michaels Tall When You Watch it So WTF?. And For The Original Part If It Was The Exact Same As The Original There Wouldnve Been A Point In Watching The Damm Movie! -

September 30, 2007the middle of the movie is a word for word remake of the original , condensed to 45mins (hence no suspense) the start as Michael as a child is interesting & by far the best part, the ending is 10 mins over-long & what started out an interesting twist on the original, just ended up another shameless cash in & a poor one at that. some of the plotholes are terrible. having a kid turn into a 7ft hulking slipnot fan while in a mental hospital is only the start.your going to see this no matter what I say (PS its not much more gory than the original either if your hoping that will keep you interested) the original was suspensful, this is like some of the worse sequels...god help the sequels this generates

September 25, 2007it makes it scarier wen they talk nd freddy films are comedy apart from the last few films. Halloween was the original out of the 3 and jason nd freddy r copycats and personally i dont like freddy but jason i find pretty cool but to similar to halloween but michael nd jason are the best. One copy of myers is cool but wen u do another its just stupid. But ppl have there own opinions which i respect and this is mine.
