Such a shame this was Donald Pleasence's last film. Started off bad then good really bad towards the end. A real missed opportunity, very amateurish. Oh, and don't get me started on the editing....
Need to watch this again, but don't think it was as good as the earlier or more recent Halloween films.

Ugh. Awful, suspense-less, convoluted, uninvolving mess of a sequel. Ruined everything that part 5 had set up. The Producer's Cut is slightly better (loved the ending) but not by much.
This movie had a plot but instead of going in that direction with the plot that they had they looked off in some other direction and said "Lets go this way!" The Druidic/Satanic idea that they had, along with the astronomy and/or astrology, to give reason for Myers' rampage, was ...( read more)
shitty confusing pile of dung. the backstory just stinks in this film. they cut out so much that it makes no sense in parts.. the producers cut is much better .. but still a weak halloween film

Is it just me or did something happen about halfway through this film? Oh yea it went from bad to worse this movie made no sense from start to finish! Even the ending was a complete waste. Come on this evil has been shot, stabbed and blown up and now some guy beats him to death with a pipe? I personally felt like i was robbed of two hours of my life that I will never get back

The Druidic idea, that they & their astronomy and/or astrology had anything to do with myers' rampage was weak, but better than where the movie actually ended up! And much better than just having the evil villian come back time and again, over and over and over, which is exactly what they have been doing for decades now, with myers, vorhees, chainsaw massacre, etc. In a nutshell that is why THIS MOVIE SUCKS!!!
