I haven't seen this movie in so long. I can definitely say though, that this is probably my favourite slasher film of all time.

Okay- NOW I'm pissed.
I wrote a FULL FUCKING REVIEW of this movie. A GOOD review. I LOVED that review. But because of some stupid management problem, which created a second Halloween account w/ no poster (which I rated as Not Interested, 'cause I knew it was bullshit) and then apparently merged it with the original one, I LOST my GODDAMN REVIEW, and my original rating was set to Not Interested.
I guess I'll just have to start a new one up from scratch, but because of this, I've lost a great deal of faith in Flixster. They need to shape up if they're going to get people to join AND keep them from leaving in a fit of blind fur (which I am experiencing at the moment).
This is Strike One. I love this site, and I hope there never has to be a Strike Two, but I'm keeping my eyes open now...
The people who said that its a horrible film have absolutely no taste. Halloween was the very first slasher movie! The acting is great. Its not just a bunch of gore like most new horror films. It has a plot and the music IS AWESOME! Its great, so shut up! I'm eating a rice cake! BANANA! Sorry if that randomness just blew your little minds, children! (insert evil laughter)
Anyone who says 'Halloween' is a horrible movie must be out of their minds! This movie is a classic. Nothing else has ever compared or has even come close to being as scary and suspensful as the original 'Halloween.' I mean, come on! For a movie that showed no blood or anything like that scared the crap out of many people!
Im Just Gonna Keep Talking Crap About This So Called "Classic". The Exorcist Is A Classic, That Movie Had A Brain. Halloween Has Nothing, Theres Not Even A Good Story Behind It. The Night He Came Home Was One of The Most Boring And Pointless Nights Ive Ever Experienced... None of The Halloween Films Were Good.
Well I saw the rob zombie film and it sucked. Halloween is not a horrible film, it's the best independant horror film ever and in it's time.
Terrible Horror Film. I Hope Rob Zombie's Remake Is At Least A Bit Scary, And Entertaining. This Is Just A Waste of Time...
Where the hell is Nancy Loomis on the actress list "And where the hell is she? "Where's Danny Lloyd now?
Supplied me with one of my favorite quotes. "Hey Jerk, SPEED KILLS!!" I think that is hilarious and the timing of the scene was so perfect. This movie is still a roller coaster to me til this day. I don't like remakes, but I have high hope for Zombie's version, and I am interested to see the angle in which he uses to tell the story. You definitely can't mess with the original, but if you must challenge, you better bring it!!!
Basically Halloween has been talked into the ground. It's a classic and ground breaking as far as kicking starting the American slasher era of the horror film...Annnddd..Underage sex scenes? KingKong92, we're not talking Salo here.
i'm so excited and so frightened of the remake. mickael is above and beyond thee scarest killers. sometimes i watch people's head tilt and it scares me to sh$# because all i can think about is michael meyers.....michael meyers...michael meyers.screw candy man. sweet dreams everyone
