I'm putting down "want to see it" because, well I love the games and I'm not that big of an idiot to rate something that hasn't come out yet, but the chances of this being made... not too high.
In fact, its currently dead in the water to the studios, as Jackson wants 5x the asking price of a normal video game movie.
Let's face it, the games and books have great stories, but there's hundreds upon hundreds of ways that they can fuck it up with a 2 hour long movie.
So I'll keep my hopes up, but until this even gets green lit, they'll never get too high. -

Gotta see this, hopefully they do the Flood and the Covenant well, Master Chief should be an interesting role for whoever plays him as you never see his face in the games...

Halo is definitly going to be a good movie, but if you are all halo mega fans why are you excited now? They announced that halo was going to be a movie about a year ago. Obviously your not that big of a fan because you would have known they were makin a movie before you read the page.

Please Please Please don't make this a movie you'll ruin the series all videogame movies have failed besides the Resident Evil movies. Let's also note that none of these details are confirmed and rumors of the movie have been around since the original Halo game and here we are after the H3 launch and still no news. Last we heard Blomkamp called the project dead while Jackson was rumored to be the reason for slow production due to arguments with the script.

People say that there'll be a movie, then they say it failed, and now there's a flixter profile about it and it says "coming soon to theaters"....Is there gonna be a movie or not? BTW what's the deal with Halo 4 or Halo Wars? Whatever...

this film looks quite good i have played, and complted all the halo games except halo wars which is out next year, but the point is i wanna see this film

If you are a real Halo fan you will not want to see John's (Spartan 117) face and you will well be aware that we have seen his face as a child in the stary night trailer for Halo 3
