Lovely tale of a samurai/teacher who is on a journey to avenge his father's death. Disillusioned about the samurai way, he soon understands how absurd the concept of revenge is and becomes one of the villagers.
First of all: Hana is not a perfect movie. Very different from the other movies by Kore-eda, even if he speaks even in this movie about loss, about dead people that are able to condition characters life.

Very laughable samurai movie. Do not expect an action samurai movie, otherwise you'll be very disappointed. Although you might be even more surprised by the movie itself.
