1st half was an enjoyable "offbeat Superman" story. Loved it.
2nd half of the movie was weird, too far fetched, and reminded me of Highlander. Mostly because it was about immortals and didn't make any sense. Should've stuck with the Superhero "offbeat Superman" theme.
i loved the movie it was awsome some parts were confusing but it was great five out of five
"Hancock", may be technically well made movie, but boring. Comparatively "I am legend", "The Pursuit of Happyness", the present film has nothing to offer to its viewers who expects some thing different and near to the heart from this hero.
it's funny...but oso very boring to watch....my friend watch until sleep...haha..
What would it be like to actually be a superhero??? Well the summer of 08 has provided some interesting answers to this question Hancock should certinly be on your must see list if you enjoy this genre. The light satiric touch of the movie set the perfect tone despite the ham-handed special effects but maybe that was the point!!! can you imagine being this guys insurance agent???
So many people couldn't understand this movie! The plot and even it's twist were not that complicated. I understood this film PERFECTLY. The twist in the Matrix was more complicated and people got that movie without a problem. Charlize Theron's character, Mary, explains everything to Hancock very clearly if you just listen to her. Those who felt the plot was too complicated, so they gave this film a horrible review or rating, must have low I.Q's or short attention spans. You'd have to be half brain dead to not understand this film.
I gave it 5 Stars. It was a very well done film. Great special effects. Awesome Superhero concept for a flawed and relateable hero, despite his Godlike powers which usually make heroes un-relateable. The action scenes were terrific. The story was well written despite the fact most movie goers are tards. Give this movie a shot, but be prepared to open your ears and LISTEN during two key plot points in said film.
well i went t see it today!
normaly i watch comedy or romcom!
action drama isnt normally my thing!
at the start i thought just another old action crap movie
but after the first 5 minutes it really piked up and was raelly intresting!
it got slightly confussing towards the end!
and i had an argument with my friend about who one of the characters was to hancock!
but of course i won!
will smith after all these years is still an amazing actor
and i think this film comes on the same level as i am legend another hit of the year
and deffint must
even if its not your usual genre
it woprth a go

Your a shallow film watcher then. You can't judeg on effects, you judge on the film. If the effects are terrible, then fine, but they don't look that bad.
I had wanted to see this but then I saw the commercials, and the special effects look really bad!
i cant wait till this movie comes put and why is every 1 saying that this is i am legend 2 when it NOT!!! so u need to shut up cuz in this movie is about him being a super hero and has nuthing to do with i' a legend 2!

Looks like an incredibly awesome movie, all things considered. Will Smith scores again!
