I have no sympathy for any teenager who's biggest problem is their parents are "embarrassing" Be thankful that your parents don't screw you every night while you sleep or beat you with a rubber hose.

Yeah, it's true. This movie is from Australia. YAY! Finally a good movie from Australia in a genre I like. I thought that it was a pretty good movie. It was funny and I kind of saw things coming. But the reality is that fantasy wont be reality unless you do something about it. I actually think Barry was pretty hot for a bad boy. And it was great.

Probably more suited to a teenage girl audience, I found it a bit predictable, but in saying that it wasn't horrible just not really memorable either.

It has my fav Aussie girl Delta in it, and it's pretty enjoyable. Saskia is the real star though, and while some scenes dragged a bit, there was enough humour & charm to keep me entertained.

I didn't mind this movie... Erica reminds Mum of myself like using the sick bays for fake illnesses to get out of schoolwork. :D

My favourite film because it is packed with laughs, and it has the most beautiful person as the star - Delta Goodrem

I liked it mainly for the reasons of acting, story line and costume not to mention I enjoyed the witty comedy. I think Burmeister did a fantastic job at playing a difficult role while i didn't like the vibe of Goodrems character. Good talent their however. Some scenes dragged on for too long but overall i liked it.

I was a bit disappointed in the movie, to be honest. I loved the book and was really looking forward to seeing the movie, but it really let me down...

More Accurately: Hating Erica Jerkin. Only Australian film I have seen this year. In some ways it is a clever social satire, with many hilarious scenes. Contains a good moral to the story. However the main character is at times annoying, weird, depressing. Hating Alison? Not really.

Why do they insist on putting Delta Goodrem first? Ok, she's relatively famous, but she sucks! Saskia Burmeister is much better. Anyway, the movie is based on a great book, but the movie is not so good...maybe coz the age of the actors was changed. Anyway, its fairly good.

The book was all right. But this movie is so much worse. I can't believe my graphic design work was still up there. Run away. Run away fast.

This is the best movie ever! It has a great storyline, good morals and a brilliant cast. My favourite movie, of all time. I believe that it deserves a sequel, so I am running a petition for a sequel to be made for it at the following link.
