basically "kids" or "mi vida loca" for a new generation. more sensual than i was expecting, and pretty silly and even a bit trashy. much like its predecessors in this sub-genre. not a waste of time because it was interesting from a sociological perspective, but nothing to recommend.
Pretty realistic type film. Hell weird seeing Anne Hathaway with her naugs out and slutting around. Freddie Rodriguez was pretty awesome as the gangster leader. That Bijou Phillips was pretty hot, even though she was pounded pretty badly.
How they got Anne Hathaway and Joseph Gordon-Levitt involved in this crappy movie is beyond me. Only watchable for Hathaway. Why did they bother with Gordon-Levitt, the best young actor in Hollywood today, if they were going to give him nothing to do?
I have seen so far 3 movies with Joseph Gordon Levitt, and 2 of them were just brilliant. So when I start this movie I thought, Joe plays in it, it should be good. But it was soooo bad! terrible
Although entertaining, the characters in this movie were pretty damn annoying and the director tried to make it seem like it was much deeper than the story really was. The acting was still pretty good, Joseph Gordon-Levitt is one of the best young actors around and he plays the wigga in this so well. Basically the movie is about a gang of white people who act like black people and how two girls from this gang get tangled up in a latino gang and that's when the trouble starts happening, all the while a nerdy type kid makes a documentary on the whole situation and what it is like to be white but act like something you're not. It kept me entertained even with the annoying characters, also, Anne Hathaway is not pretty, she has a nice body, but ew at the face :-)
Funny thing about this movie, is I know tons of people like this. You can't help but think a lot of this cats in the movie got what they deserved leaving their lives of comfort for the streets.
Good movie. I can't believe that their was that many white people trying to be a gangster,it was funny. So cool seeing Anne Hathaway, and Joseph Gorden-Levitt was a gangster. Joseph Gorden-Levitt was a goofy ass gangster. I couldn't hardly understand what the hell he was talking about.
You'll be irritated by the characters for the first 20 minutes of Havoc... but once you get a peek into Alison's (Anne Hathaway) family life, you'll realize that this isn't just Malibu's Most Wanted 2. The film explores Hathaway's character to a depth you would never expect. Hathaway shows range here; Freddy Rodriguez also turns in a great performance.
Havoc is a good watch. A surprisingly well-rounded film-- when all I really expected was to see Ella Enchanted's tits.
i watched this because alot of people said it was good.i thought it was a bit of a let down.it's a ok movie.one of those movies thats worth watching but only worth watch once.
Very gritty and a very powerful movie. Hathaway's character is quite a break from the the parts she usually has. (And, yes, you guys get to see her boobs. Apparently this is a huge selling point for the movie.)
Average movie about teens doing stupid things, thinking they are old enough to be doing these things. Bijou Phillips isn't as skanky as she usually is, you actually see more of Anne Hathaways boobs then hers lol! It has a good cast with Joseph Gordon Levitt, Freddy Rodriguezs and Michael Biehn. The story was interesting, but ultimately it just had a bit of a crusty ending.
OMG, this movie sucked!! This movie is just about two white girls who live the perfect life who decide they want to deal with Latino drug dealers. And seeing Anne topless throughout most of the movie was absolutely repulsive. So unless you're a total perv and like seeing 2 little white girls acting like sluts and having sex with drug dealers, don't bother watching it.
This was an interesting movie. I think everyone's so used to seeing Anne Hathaway playing a good girl for Disney. I think it was good that she shyed away from that. Although I was a little shocked to see her boobs..Lol.
An utterly annoying, abnoxious film about two well-off white girls who decide to mingle with Latino thugs, in the hope of experiencing, first hand, the gangsterisms thier exposed to everyday through the media. The only real redeeming quality of the film is Anne Hathaway and her displayed "assets," but they really don't make the film at all more tolerable. As a viewer, you'll really want to bitch-slap these brats back to reality, but since you can't, you'll have to endure a rather aggravating 90 minutes.

Yes... it's the 'Princess Diaries girl gets nude flick'. 4 rich white kids who act like they're from the ghetto decide to check out the real thing by heading into East L.A. Anne Hathaway gets turned on by all she sees and keeps going back to get her fix... and ends up almost getting raped by latino gang members as part of their initiation ritual. It's kind of smart and kind of stupid at the same time. Sure it shows us what you get when you assume that you can do anything just because you're rich and that by being a fake person you are setting yourself up for a fall when you come up against the real thing, but it's slow and the two Hathaway nude scenes are mildly disturbing and not erotic in any way... still she's got a nice rack.
hmm. i really like anne hathaway but she looks like a 35 year old in this picture, not a teenage girl. she acts well but it still didn't convince me. and the guys are just so THUG if feels comic. watchable, at best.
