I can't believe I actually watched this movie. Haha. It was just - silly! I had to do it, though. I'm gradually working my way through all of Timothy Olyphant's filmography. *Nod* Sadly, though, he appears in this one for all of sixty seconds. A pretty tasty scene, however. Totally deserved a rewind. LMAO. The whole possible murder portion of the plot gave me a little hope. But, overall, this one was way too girly for me. I'm just not into the romantic comedies. At all.
Amanda Pierce (Monica Potter) moved in with 4 roomates: Jade (Shalom Harlow), Roxana Milla Slasnakova (Ivan Milicevic), Candi (Sarah O'Hare), & Holly (Tomiko Fraser). Amanda fall for a man named Detective Bob Smoot (Freddie Prinze Jr.) goes undercover as Jim Winston with his dog named Hamlet.
i havn't seen this yet but i would like to and i think that it is going to be a good film to watch but i also want to know when it is next out i think that the boy on the front is fit loland i like his pet dog -x-
what a nice film, its just funny and sweet and quirky some funny parts, it can be a bit... i dont know the word but its a nice film with two good main characters. freddie prinze jr is so sweet in this, he makes the filmin my eyes. its not the best but one to watch once i think.
Seriously chick flic movie should be watched with the woman of your choice. Sadly I didn't have that so was content to drool over the "image" of beautiful as portrayed by most of the cast and expected by the beauty industry. I was okay with it.
Blessed with a cut-rate deal on a luxurious Eastside apartment, but stuck with four super-thin, super-fabulous roomates, Amanda doesn't know whether to thank her lucky stars or curse her lot in life...( read more read more... ). Never content to let the ordinary exist, the models immediately enlist Amanda as their experiment in makeover magic, transforming her from just fine to fierce and training her in the fine arts of attitude, accessories and avoidance of paying the cocktail tab. Things really begin to look up as Amanda falls for Jim Winston, the charmer in the building next door, and Jim falls for Amanda right back. He seems to be the fulfillment of Amanda's unanswered prayers... until one night when the girls spy him committing what happens to be a cold-blooded crime. Amanda's life begins to dizzily unspool as she and her four loopy roomies take to the streets of Manhattan as second-rate sleuths to solve the naughty business next door, staying one step ahead of trouble and in step with the latest style.
I definitely hate rom-coms but this one is actually kinda funny. It would have been better if they replaced the lead, Monica Potter, with someone else. She's too pretty to be this dowdy wallflower living with models. The models are adorable and likable and Freddie Prinze Jr. is not bad. Overall, a fun, albeit typical romantic comedy.
Cute little movie. The models were a bit much in all their ways so you love the scene in the bathroom were all the crap...you know. I don't see Freddie as a secret agent, too tough for him hehehe. But it was okay
the red head is like me but i would be like the blonde one with all the surgery's because if my boss told me to do that i would which is kinda stupid =\
I watched this DVD movie that my mother loaded me from the library today. I laughed so hard. It's like models and Met employee spying at a mysterious guy who lives across from huge windows of ladies' apt in NYC. U should see to it if u are interesting in a fashion. Jim/Bob who played by Prinze looks so cute!
So I watched this with my best friend and laughed forever. I'm still saying lines from the movie. It's seriously more of a comedy than romance story in my eyes. I was totally uninterested in their "love" and more into the models in the movie. While looking at diamonds..."What are you doing?"..."Evidence! What are you doing?"...Tennis bracelet!". LOL!
Some wierd kind of thrillerparody/romantic comedy-thingy and I'm not sure Ilike the combination. But sure, there are a couple of funny scenes and it works pretty well as light entertainment at a sleepoverparty.
This is another of your somewhat standard chick flicks with little value apart from a star or too. But beyond the fluff there's really not much to this movie apart from eye candy, depending on what catches your fancy.
