A nonsensical movie that is really cool, or should I say groovy! Visually very impressive, it's lack of structure is oddly a plus for the film. A fascinating collage from Bob Rafelson and Jack Nicholson.

Dude, this movie is sweet, I love all of the random references. Not to mention the fact that Jack Nickleson had something to do with it.

Bob Rafelson and Jack Nicholson present this tripped-out dark reflection of the Beatles' cinematic adventures. Davy, Mickey, Mike and Peter pulverize the fourth wall to explore the downside of being a pop-culture phenomenon.

a very nice 'outta sight, outta mind' movie, and i really like the self-irony of the Monkees. They are cool guys and natural performers. The criticize of the 'stardom' it's the best feature of this movie.
