A heartwarming tale from action men Jackie and Sammo Hung - this movie is the same as Crusie and Hoffman's Rain Man - the thing is - Heart of Dragon came out earlier than Rain Man!! lolz
Surprisingly heartfelt story as Jackie cares for his retarded brother Sammo Hung, who is kidnapped by a crime gang. Quite serious in tone with a few moments of comedy (like Jackie kicking away Sammo's soccer ball), rather overwrought and not enough action to make up.

I'm not really buying Jackie as an actor, and the drama between him and Sammo was very over-the-top cheesy. Nonetheless, Heart of the Dragon is a cool movie that will fit in nicely between Police Story and Crime Story for displaying what Jackie can (or rather, can't) do as an act...( read more)
this can hardly be considered a kung fu movie, but it succeeds in being absolutely over-the-top hilarious and entertaining.
It's kinda like the Hong Kong Rain Man.
