Hellraiser Inferno was a great movie. The acting could have been better, but it took a completely different turn than I expected it to.

Pinhead is what he was in the first two Hellraisers, A judge of Hell. If you notice Hellraiser 3 and Bloodline make him the bad guy, while in t...( read more)he first two movies it was the humans who were the evil ones.

This movie requires you to THINK. If you don't like having to think about a movie don't watch it, but if you liked the Blair Witch Project, You will like this movie.

This sequel brings back the style of the first two, but with enough difference to shock you in new ways. I believe this movie gets the point across that I think Clive Barker was trying to get across when he started this series, You create your own Hell, and you confront your own demons.

This movie is not like the rest of the series. It is more of a psychological terror than a slasher film. Give this movie a chance, and think about it.

This is an odd departure from the Hellraiser movie aesthetic, and though it has its merits, it's got all the right faults to match them. Firstly, though the story is predictable (and the conclusion is a "so what?" *shrug* sort of ending), Pinhead, when he does bother to show up,...( read more) gets some great lines culled right from Barker's work and paraphrased just enough to not be his IP. I like the Chatterer innovation, but I was really really REALLY bored of seeing the same sort of Cenobites, to the degree where's it's like intolerable pastiche of "They Live!" and "Fallen". And I REALLY hate the "western" sequence - so quintessentially lame! Not enough new Cenobites, the detective story isn't that engaging, this should have been a one-shot comic series and nothing more. BUT I like the gore, and the final reel is pretty cool. I just wish more of the movie had been like that final reel - as intense, dramatic, and suspenseful. Instead it was just very droll and "SciFi Channel production". As I said of 2: Hellbound, just search out some highlight clips, esp of the ending sequences and the new and improved Chatterer.

A bad cop's life soon becomes a living hell when he opens a Puzzle Box (aka Lament Configuration). People around him start dying or going crazy. Strange creatures appear to torture him. He must find a way out of this living nightmare, but it might not be the release he is looking...( read more) for. Great twisted plot will keep you guessing throughout. Pinhead and the other Cennobites only briefly appear. This is the first in the series of new Hellraiser movies which showcases one character's personal hell. I liked it, but the story has so many twists and turns, it was hard to keep up.

Nice Pinhead-centered story. The script is done very well. More cerebral than some of the others in the series and may be a letdown for those looking for a strict slasher flick.

Good movie all around. It would be good as a psychological thriller on its own as well.

One of the weakest films in the series, it is clear that this was originally another movie that then had the Hellraiser franchise put into it. A film that is still betterthan sequels in other horror franchises, but not quite up to the Hellraiser name.

The only thing cheap about this movie was the acting by Craig Sheffer, other then that it was as good as a Hellraiser movie gets, with special effects and the new evil looking Cenobites. The half albino Cenobites was wicked cool. We don't see much of Pinhead until the end. If n...( read more)ot for the fact that this is a Hellraiser Movie it would have been very boring. But its Hellraiser so I for one will not give any less than 4 stars.

I think this is the best one of them all

This sequel is better than the third and fourth parts of the series. At some points, it gets extremelly scary and suspenseful, and that's what I liked about it the most. From this point, all of the sequels directed by Rick Bota totally suck, so even being a Hellraiser fan, you sh...( read more)ould stop here now.

A good hellraiser sequel, but can also be a great film as a stand-alone piece. Lesser Pinhead screen time, and less evil work too, because the protagonist's own personal demons tortured him and does him right. The film's imagery is also top-notch, reminding me a lot of "Inland Em...( read more)pire". "Inferno" is an above-average film, and that quality applies both as a sequel and as a lone film.
