A very excentric drama by Spanish master Pedro Almodovar. Spellbinding female performances by both Marisa Paredes and (especially) Victoria Abril. It was good overall; a little bit dramatic and over-the-top, but OK. Perhaps the second best choice to begin with Almodovar.
