Mary Murdock (Laura Breckenridge) was heading home from a night of hard partying when she hit a big bump on the back roads. Pulling over to investigate, Mary is horrified to discover a man affixed to her front bumper. Panicked, she beats him furiously, buries him in the forest, and carries on as if nothing ever happened. But Mary's nightmare is only getting started, because the man she thought she killed has tracked her down, and he's eager to return the favor. It wasn't long ago that Mary was more concerned with covering up the evidence than wondering if she'll live to see another day, but when her victim returns with revenge on the brain, she is quickly drawn into a bloody game of kill or be killed.

To tell you the truth, I don't know what to think of this movie. On the one hand it's pretty creepy, nightmarish and well made, but on the other hand its entire weird and ridiculous.
First the characters. They don't do things logically. I know that Mary, the girl who discovers she has almost killed a guy, could panic. In fact she looks so stupid that I cannot care really about what will happen to her. I knew after she stops calling 911, that it will be a disaster. And her friend Rick is unbelievably irritating. Very clever from him scaring his girlfriend when this one is already close to a nervous breakdown.
Now the story. Too predictable and with many absurdities. These can be individual details such as no spade to dig, not only once but twice. And the tool that reappears magically later on. Or crashing the car into a tree, to attract even more attention from the cops! But more importantly, for instance, the strange behaviour of the victim's wife. Why does not she call the police immediately to inform them of the return of her weird and injured husband ? Or things like blood coming out of a phone, leading us to think that the whole story is just a bad dream. As a nightmare you could accept the absence of logic, but this again is never clear.
Acting and directing are average, but not great. I guess it may be difficult with a mediocre script.
