December 2, 2007Wow! More sophisticated than it may appear, with nuanced performances by Jackson, Biel, Presley, Rowell, Jones ... just everyone. Kudos to Winkler & Co. So compelling--to me--that I even commented at IMDb, a first.

December 2, 2007This wasnt a bad movie, but not one of my favorite war moviess. It wasnt much about war but shead some light on the after effects of war when our soilders come home. Some manage to rebuild their life, others are unable to cope.

November 18, 2007The first 45 minutes were pretty good, and Jesscica Biel's character was interesting. The rest was badly written. I still thought it was a LITTLE bit realistic, for my dad himself went in Afghanistan for six months... Could have been A LOT better

November 13, 2007I expected more from this movie. It was good though. It would've been a better movie if they didn't focus on so many different characters. They should've just made Samuel Jackson's character and Biel's character the focal point for this movie, then dug deeper into their lives.

50 Cent didn't really do that good compared to Get Rich or Die Tryin' but it was alright.
The picture was bad, it felt an independent movie. -

November 5, 2007Weve seen this movie many times, and meny times weve heard about how difficult it is for soldiers coming back from war... but seeing it, is a whole different story. It a good movie, its worth watching and its touching from beginnig to end.
